Vinegar:Vinegar has been found to have many usefull purposes around the house besides being used in recipes
- Leave a small container of white vinegar in any room to keep the room smelling fresh, especially when the house or room has been closed up for a while.
- Keep a small bowl of vinegar near your stove to keep your kitchen smelling fresh. This especially comes in use when cooking fish or wild game.
- To keep your cyrstal gleaming, wash in a solution of one cup white vinegar and three cups of warm water. No Soap! Dry with a lint free towel.
- Use vinegar to wipe off hard water stains on dishes, shower stalls, and cabinets. (I use this all the time - It works wonders)
- To unclog shower heads, water spouts, and sprinkelers boil in 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 qt. water for 15 minutes.
- Use vinegar to remove rust and mildew stains from chrome (most).
- Remove spots caused by tomatoes with vinegar. Soak the spot then wash.
- To scale a fish more easily rub vinegar on the scales first.
- Adding vinegar or lemon joice to potatoes before draining will make them extra white when mashed.
To clean your microwave oven, boil a cup of water in it for 3-5 minutes. The steam will loosen food, etc. and then it can be easily wiped clean.
Add 1/4 cup dishwasher detergent to your load of whites for a whiter wash.
If you have fish in an aquarium. When exchanging new water for old, use the old discard water to both water and fertilize your house plants.
FOR CLEANING COPPER PAN (this doesnt work for me. I got some cleaning stuff at the store that works really well for this)
1. Clean pan with Zud and rinse. Wipe dry right away.
2. Or rub the pan with a cloth dipped in ketchup.

Place a piece of white chalk in your jewellery box. This will help prevent costume jewellery from
tarnishing.Use vegetable oil to remove sticky tags from glass or brass. It will leave no trace of the glue.
Store silver with a piece of aluminum foil to keep it tarnish free.
Pour leftover cola drinks into your toilet bowl. Let soak. Then Flush. You will have a sparkling bowl.
